Discovering the traces of the Politecnico in the city of Milan

Guided tours through places in Milan that are symbolic for the Politecnico

Itinerari

Initiative

Through the work of its architects, engineers, and designers, the Politecnico has left many traces throughout the city: buildings, museums, archives, and cultural foundations are the work and evidence of the value of our alumni.

These are symbolic sites for the Politecnico in Milan and they are not always accessible. For the occasion, anecdotes, trivia, and design secrets are revealed by our exceptional guides, our own current or past professors.

Itineraries are therefore exclusive guided tours that the Politecnico developed in 2015 and offers to citizens — not just specialists — with the goal of spreading the culture of the Politecnico and its strong influence on the artistic, cultural, and social development of Milan.

A few examples over the years include visits to: Piccolo Teatro, Fondazione Castiglioni, the headquarters of Corriere della Sera, Fondazione Pirelli, the ADI Design Museum, Palazzo Mezzanotte, Galleria Campari, the ATM Depot on via Messina, the Planetarium, and many other sites.
