Special exemption

If you have a complete Study Plan for the 2025/2026 academic year, including the ECTS credits required to obtain the degree regardless of whether they have been passed (Bachelor’s Degree: 180 ECTS credits; Master’s Degree: 120 ECTS credits; single-cycle Master’s Degree: 300 ECTS credits), with exams taken during the final examination session of the previous academic year (first semester: August/September 2026; second semester: January/February 2027), and you graduate by the last graduation session relating to the previous academic year (March 2027 for Bachelor’s Degree programmes, April 2027 for Master’s Degree programmes and programmes established under Ministerial Decree 509/1999).

If you have already enrolled for a number of years at least equal to the normal duration of your programme:

1. the all-inclusive contribution will be equal to 50% of the amount due based on the number of ECTS credits and the 2027 ISEE/ISEEU parificato, if you graduate by the date corresponding to the last graduation session of the previous academic year (March 2027 3-Year Laurea (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree), april 2027, Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) and prior to Ministerial Decree 509/1999).
   This benefit is not granted if you submit a study plan for the additional year that includes extra courses.
   Benefits may only be applied at the time of enrolment in the graduation exam indicated above.

   Register your 2027 ISEE certificate for university purposes at least 10 days before registering for the graduation exam; for the 2027 ISEEU parificato, submit the required documentation and ask the CAF to transmit the application to Politecnico di Milano before registering for the graduation exam. In the absence of Isee/Iseeu-parificato 2027 is available at the time of registration for the graduation exam, the 2026 value will be taken into account, if registered.

2. the all-inclusive contribution will not be required. You will only pay regional tax, stamp duty, and insurance if you graduate by the final graduation exam date of the previous academic year (March 2027 for Laurea, equivalent to a Bachelor of Science, April 2027, Master's Degree and prior to Ministerial Decree 509/1999). This is provided that your study plan remains unchanged from the previous academic year, with no additional ECTS credits or purchased credits, except for the removal of courses and/or reclassification of courses between "effective" and "extra." and with all examinations required for obtaining the qualification taken during the examination sessions of the previous academic year, and/or in the case of a request for certification for the 2026/2027 academic year and/or submission of an application for the 2026/2027 Right to University Education benefits and/or for 200-hour paid student collaborations and tutoring activities.

   Students enrolled in degree programmes under the system preceding Ministerial Decree 509/1999 are eligible for this benefit, provided they have no more than three exams remaining.

   The benefits may only be applied upon registration for the above-mentioned graduation session.

   For students referred to in points 1 and 2 who do not graduate within the deadlines indicated above, the annual all-inclusive contribution will be due based on the number of CFUs and the 2027 ISEE/ISEEU parificato value; any adjustment will be charged with the second instalment.

3. the all-inclusive contribution will be equal to 25% of the amount due based on the number of CFUs and the 2027 ISEE/ISEEU parificato value, if you have a complete study plan for the previous academic year (2025/2026), which is not amended in the additional year, and you have taken all examinations, including any additional courses and internship-type study plan entries, during the examination sessions of the previous academic year, and you do not graduate by the date of the last graduation session of the previous academic year (March 2027 for Bachelor’s Degree programmes, April 2027 for Master’s Degree programmes and programmes under Ministerial Decree 509/1999).

   Enrolled in the Online Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree programme will also be exempt from the fee for use of the relevant platform.

Warning: for the benefits indicated, where more than one category of exemption applies at the same time, only the benefit that is most advantageous to the student will be automatically allocated.
