IREC - International Real Estate Challenge
IREC - International Real Estate Challenge is a competition in which students from different European universities participate in the development of real estate projects based on the specific needs of an investor. All students work with colleagues from different countries and with different skills and develop their projects by first working remotely, then face-to-face, under the supervision of their professors. A panel of experts chooses the three best projects that are then presented to the investors, who choose the winner.
Every year, Politecnico di Milano students enrolled in the Master of Science programme in REM or in the second year of the Master's programme in Management of the Built Environment take part in this challenge by becoming part of one of the teams: this allows them to meet colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds, to learn from international lecturers and to work on a real estate project proposed by a real client.

Each year, students from the REM Master of Science programme and the Master's programme in Management of the Built Environment are selected.
