Smart Eyewear Lab

Smart glasses of the future  

From the collaboration between Politecnico di Milano and Essilor Luxottica was born Smart Eyewear Lab, a Research and Technology Validation laboratory that will last five years and will bring together more than 100 researchers and scientists who will work side by side in a dedicated space. During the first two years, the laboratory will be located in the historic Leonardo Campus and, from 2025, the lab will move within the Innovation District where the Politecnico di Milano is developing in the Parco dei Gasometri, in the Bovisa area in Milan, a redevelopment project signed by Renzo Piano.
