Descrizione dell'iniziativa
Workshop Description
This workshop explores cutting-edge processes and materials for enhancing dishwasher racks and washing efficiency. Focused on innovation for the next 2-3 years, the event will emphasize user experience (UX) improvements and interior design of dishwashers tailored to local habits and the preferences of Generation Z.
Workshop Scope
This workshop unites MIDEA's industry expertise with university-driven research to develop innovative dishwasher designs that cater to local habits and Generation Z preferences in Europe. The collaboration aims to create a user-centered approach to redefine the dishwasher experience, focusing on intuitive functionality and modern aesthetics.
From MIDEA's side, the team will provide robust support through consumer research, offering insights into user behaviors and preferences. Advanced technology will be leveraged to push the boundaries of design and functionality, while market insights will guide the alignment of innovations with current trends. Additionally, a comprehensive competitor analysis will ensure that the new designs stand out by benchmarking against industry leaders and identifying opportunities for differentiation.
On the university side, the focus will be on understanding how Europeans interact with dishwashers, with special attention to cultural and behavioral nuances. Research into how Generation Z engages with dishwashers will highlight this tech-savvy group's unique needs and expectations. Young designers will contribute through User Experience Design (UED) for the product, creating solutions that enhance usability and satisfaction. Additionally, User Interface Design (UID) will address the development of seamless, interactive interfaces to improve user engagement.
Together, the workshop aims to deliver innovative solutions across key areas of the dishwasher. The outcomes will include new interaction models based on Western habits and Generation Z preferences. Design advancements will focus on the loading experience, creating ergonomic and intuitive solutions; storage systems that are flexible and efficient; and enhanced water systems for optimal washing performance. Additional innovations will target baskets and accessories for adaptability, improved dispenser and inner door designs for functionality and aesthetics, and advanced drying systems to achieve superior results.
