This short course will introduce the participants to the process to establish a complex space programme within the European Space Agency.Starting with the analysis of the several stakeholders of the European space sector, the students will learn how to build a programme either starting from the public side or starting from the private side, explaining the motivations to invest, the steps needed, the dossier that has to be prepared and the implementation steps following approval. Examples relative to recently established programmes will be provided, with a special analysis of the Clean Space programme.The students will be challenged during the lectures and will be asked to actively interact with the lecturer.Lectures will be given by Luisa Innocenti, former Clean Space programme manager at the European Space Agency.
