Descrizione dell'iniziativa
In May, the 12th edition of Città Bene Comune will be held at the Casa della Cultura in Milan. It will be a forum for reflection and debate on the city, territory, environment, landscape, and their interpretative and design cultures.
The initiative, conceived and coordinated by Renzo Riboldazzi, is co-produced by the Casa della Cultura and the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies of the Politecnico di Milano and is sponsored by the Istituto Nazionale di Urbanistica, the Società Italiana degli Urbanisti, by the Società dei Territorialisti onlus, Accademia Urbana and the Associazione Italiana di Scienze Regionali.
The formula adopted is that characterizes this appointment since 2013: four meetings with the authors/ curators of as many recent books, three or four discussants invited to read and comment publicly the texts subject to reflection and debate, a final open to the public.
The aim is to encourage critical reflection on the themes of urban and territorial transformations, including environmental and landscape aspects, while also creating an ideal link between academic culture and civil society.
