In an increasingly future-oriented perspective, the Politecnico di Milano, already in 2018, has decided to undertake a vision path aimed at tracing the role of technical-scientific universities for the next twenty years.
Research, technology and competence are key elements of the ongoing transformations; the role played by technical-scientific universities is increasingly relevant: alongside research and education, Universities are called upon to actively contribute to the definition of public policies and industrial development plans, supporting entrepreneurial innovation and interaction and projection in civil society.
The "Polimi 2040" worktable aims to analyze and share scenarios and trends, stimulate a debate on future challenges and identify possible trajectories of evolution.
