Description of the initiative
Organised by George Brown College / Brookfield Sustainability Institute (https://www.brookfieldsustainabilityinstitute.com/)
The charrette will focus on the theme of Smart Sustainability which grows from the intersection of wisdom and innovation and the application of digital transformation to help meet sustainable development goals. The charrette will focus on projects that have been selected to cover areas such as city planning, architecture and interior design, urban agriculture and heritage conservation and revitalization.
The interdisciplinary teams will be working on actual projects that will then be developed into working prototypes after the charette engaging with community groups, the College, developers, and corporate clients.
