Students must have excellant English speaking and writing skills and they must be enrolled in a Master course of the Politecnico di Milano.

Students who are interested in participating must submit (max 5 mb for each documents):

_a short statement of why you are interested in participating (max 300 words)

In the CV other international experiences will be considered important in the evaluation. Also travelling experiences beyond professional ones will be considered to evaluate the ability to adapt and explore other cultures. The workshop will not be focused on one specific design sector, so all professional backgrounds are welcomed. In the statement it is important to say why you think this experience is important for you and what are the personal and professional skills you are interested in deepening.

We will be selecting only 5 students form Politecnico di Milano.

Description of the initiative

The Design Village (TDV) is an interdisciplinary, industry-centric design institute, based out of Noida, New Delhi in India.
At TDV, all fields of design come together for essential interdisciplinary interactions.The workshop intends to bring together students from The Design Village, TUDelft, Politecnico di Milano and to combine design skills in a workshop that investigates future challenges. The theme and the topic of the workshop will be defined and the methods and tools that we will be using will take advantage of the different design cultures of three instituztions.
The workshop will allow students to immerge themselves in the Indian context, to meet and learn from international collegues and to work together with them towards a desired future.

PARTICIPATION COSTS
Students will be responsible for their own travel expenses (including VISA expenses for India) and any other personal needs during the trip. The Design Village will be covering for food and accommodation for the entire stay and travelling in India.
The workshop activity and teaching is part of the offering of the schools promoting the event, hence free of charge.
