Non EEA students resident in Italy are allowed to apply to Master of Science programmes during the application call reserved to EEA students if they have a valid "residence permit or a subordinate or autonomous work permit, for family reasons, for political asylum, for humanitarian asylum, for religious reasons" (art. 39, comma 5, of the legislative decree 25.07.98, n. 286, modified by the art. 26 of the law 30 July 2002, n. 189 - Law modification regarding immigration and political asylum). Students with a residence permit different from those listed above will not be accepted.
Non EEA students currently studying in a Master of Science Programme in another Italian university
Transfers from other Italian universities to Politecnico di Milano can only be made at the beginning of the academic year and are NOT ALLOWED in the second semester (February intake). Moreover, students holding a residence permit for study purposes CANNOT withdraw from their current career in order to activate a new one at Politecnico di Milano: in case of withdrawal, the residence permit for study purposes loses its validity and the student must apply for a new one.

• Laurea Magistrale programmes under the School of Design and under the School of Architecture accept students only in the first semester of the academic year (September intake).
• It is possible to apply only once per semester in one of the available applications calls.
• There is no difference in terms of chances on admission between the application calls for the same semester
• Please avoid last minute payments as the office might not be able to assist them, in case any problem arises.
