Trenitalia

As part of the Trenitalia for Business programme, Trenitalia offers all Politecnico di Milano students the Welfare Plus.

Trenitalia offers Welfare Plus discount on tickets for leisure trips.

The discount is reserved to the holders of a CartaFRECCIA  associated with the university*.

The CartaFRECCIA holder can take advantage of the discount for himself and the persons travelling with him (up to a maximum of 6 companions plus the owner).

The Welfare Plus can only be applied to the purchase of Basic, Economy and Super Economytickets on Frecce trains (Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca) in internal service.

Purchases of tickets for Intercity Day, Intercity Night, Regional, International trains, of other railway companies (Trenord, Thello etc.) and ancillary services are excluded.

It cannot be combined with offers reserved for certain categories (e.g. Voters, Special Concessions, Deputies and Senators, etc. It is not applicable to the supplement for the Lounge service.

To enjoy the benefits of Welfare Plus you need to:

1. be a Trenitalia CartaFRECCIA holder.

2. *associate your CartaFRECCIA to the University's Trenitalia for Business programme.

Anyone who has already previously associated their CartaFRECCIA will have to carry out the entire procedure again.

The offer is available until 31 December 2024.

By taking up the offer you authorise Politecnico di Milano to check your CartaFRECCIA number.

It is possible that authorised personnel check your university card on the train.
