As part of Milan Green Week 2026, Off Campus Provvisorio, Comin, and B-cam—as part of the "Reciprocity in Action" project—are promoting two days of recreational, educational, and cultural activities at Cascina Turro to present the experimental SOSpesa+ project.

The initiative aims to chronicle the evolution of SOSpesa+, a program that actively involves neighborhood families in managing the urban food supply chain located in the Cascina's garden. Through two days of hands-on workshops, participants will learn how to complete the food cycle, transforming organic waste into a valuable resource for the community and the environment.

• Day 1 – From waste to soil: Activation of the neighborhood composter. This activity will explain how organic waste is transformed into compost to nourish the urban soil. This activity is open to children and residents. On this occasion, organic waste will feed the composter. This initiative will be an opportunity to explain how the urban food supply chain works, in relation to the agricultural production module, located on-site, which is directly nourished by the transformed organic material.
   

• Day 2 – Green Technology: Monitoring the Vertical Farming Module. Technological solutions for monitoring agricultural production tanks will be tested.
  This activity will monitor the growth conditions of potted plants with respect to various environmental and substrate parameters. From tabulated values, which primarily concern environmental parameters such as air temperature, solar radiation, and PAR, and soil parameters such as temperature and humidity, the values ​​measured on site will be verified to identify any differences. Some fixed instruments will be used, while others can be moved from one tank to another to observe how certain elements change, for example, when the position changes, and therefore the amount of shade, or the amount of water or nutrients, etc.
