New mobility survey

The University to assess the devolpment of a MaaS platform for its community

The Politecnico di Milano has decided to conduct a survey to assess the potential development for the university community of MaaS (Mobility-as-a-Service): a new concept of mobility based on the creation of a digital platform to improve the integration of collective transportation services (bus, metro, bike sharing, car sharing, etc.) and reduce car commuting to/from the university campuses. 

In particular, a MaaS platform is conceived to provide travelers with optimized travel solutions in terms of time and cost, combining multiple transport modes based on individual mobility needs, and allows booking and purchasing services supplied by different operators with a single account and in a single transaction.

Given the potential strategic importance of the topic in promoting sustainability for any type of travel (not only home-university), and as part of the activities aimed at updating the PSCL - Piano Spostamenti Casa Lavoro (Home-Work Commuting Plan) the questionnaire (estimated time: 7 minutes) is available at this link by 9 June 2023.

This survey is being carried out also in the context of the activities of the University in the Mobility Working Group of the Italian University Network for Sustainable Development (RUS).
