Politecnico di Milano for the Italian Education. Facing the emergency together

In this moment of emergency that involves the whole Italian Education, Politecnico di Milano offers its experience to help with the planning and implementation of remote teaching as effective as possibile. Based on the many activities developed and carried out by the Departments of our University with and for Italian Education on the subjects of digital innovation in education and in institutions, some specific initiatives have been put in place:

#DOL - E-collaboration at school and outside

An open online course organised by the specialising master’s course DOL (for experts in the use of teaching technologies, of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering), with a community of more than 3,660 enrolled teachers: a place designed to promote learning, but especially for discussions with those who have tested and are testing innovative teaching methods.

Enrolments have closed for the spring edition, but considering the success met by the initiative, an autumn edition will most likely be organised. Check this page or the course website for updated info!

#MIP4School - How to manage digital education

Video and resources about e-learning management from MIDIS  Specializing Master (digital innovation at school, provided by MIP – Politecnico Graduate School of Business); in addition, regular webinars with experts on the problems that the school is facing at the moment are planned.

#ebook "Voices from schools in the time of Coronavirus"

An eBook that converges the experiences of teachers (from kindergarten to upper secondary school) who provided distance learning during this emergency term.

It is interesting and, at times, even entertaining and moving. A picture of the Italian School System that never interrupted its service, which was helpfully provided free of charge, both in Italian and English.
